DE EN FR

The passion of our collective manifests itself under the name Pignon sur Strass. We run spaces where cycling enthusiasts can come together to unite their mechanical affinity with their desire to do things with their own hands. Our workshops are places where you can repair, improve and even create your own bikes.

Do-it-yourself (DIY) bicycle repair workshop

To work on your bike or your bicycle-project, just come by during opening hours - no need to book nor schedule an appointment. Our DIY-workshop provides:

  • Self-service workstations equipped with basic tools
  • Specialist tools and instructions on how to use them
  • Experienced mechanics in advisory and supervisory capacity, while the mechanical work is done by the cyclists themselves
  • Affordable prices: the workshop usage fee is CHF 5 for PRO VELO or AQA members, and CHF 10 for non-members
  • New parts (inner tubes, brake pads, spokes, etc.) sold at fixed prices
  • Used parts (frames, handlebars, stems, etc.) are available at free prices

All additional work, advice and assistance is subject to discussion and, your conscious participation. Please pay cash on site.
